California Dreaming?
I have lived almost my entire life in the once great state of California. Born and raised in the deserts of Sunny So-Cal I can say I've seen California change quite a bit in my life time. Mostly for the worse I'm sad to say.
Mr. Victor Davis Hanson brings up many of the issues in his latest Pajama's Media entry. While that's not all that's wrong with California it is a "quick and dirty" version of the last 5-10 years.
As much as I love the state I can say with certainty that I'm looking forward to escaping to the mountains of Colorado. I just hope that while I'm fleeing the state the other California refugees also flowing into Colorado don't copy California's idiotic policies and drive that wonderful state into the ground as well. My wife really doesn't want to move again and I don't blame her.
